Fishing is a
gathering secondary profession which allows players to fish in the various
bodies of water found across the world. Anyone can learn to fish, no matter how
many other professions they've devoted themselves to. While you should remember
that different areas require certain skill levels before the player will be
able to cast in the waters. As a seasoned wow player, here are some my own
fishing experience.
1 Learn to catch a
fish
First, visit any
trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth. You can just ask a guard, or you can
select “Professions Trainers” and “Fishing” box. A flag will appear on your
map, directing you to a fishing trainer. Then you are able to learn as a fishing
apprentice.
After that, go to
any body of water, and find the fishing skill icon in your spell book. Stand in
front of the river and press the fishing button. Mouse over the lure in the
water, and when it splashes, right click on it. Repeat this several hundred
times.
2 Choose cooking
as well
Food can boost any
player stats to maximize damage or healing during raids, questing and PVP.
Fishing alongside leveling your cooking skill is also highly advisable as most
fish are also used in cooking recipes. In Wrath of the Lich King, the areas where
named and cook-able fish were plenty giving players and easy way to fish up and
cook stacks of for future raids.
3 How to catch
rare fish
An important thing
for this achievement is to know the location of the certain fish required. By
equipping lures and leveling your Fishing Skill, you have a greater chance of
fishing other valuable items and fish as well. Make sure use the lure which
adds an additional skill. In addition, stay in the area where rare fish
accumulate for an extended period of time. It is possible to catch different
types of rare fish in the same area, for example, if you are in the Blasted Lands
or Swamp of Sorrows, you can catch both the 103
Pound Might fish and the 22 Pound Lobster. While, if you feel depressed with
your low level fishing skill in accounts

4 Fishing for gold
The easiest way to
make gold is to search the fish demand in the AH. Look through the list for the
most consistently high-priced fish. Once you return to the auction house with
your catch, you will earn a lot. However, how soon you go back will mostly
depend on your patience, but if you have a 20 to 40 fish, you will likely be
ready for a break. Well, if fishing is your primary gold-making professions,
remember to fish more, or search the Auction House to see if there have been
changes in prices for other fish, it is also necessary to check back regularly
to stay on top of changes in the server's economy.
